This auction is for a set of 9 different premium quality chisels and gouges in a denim tool roll and with 14 different sharpening stones, 4 of these tools have the original label marked: HENRY TAYLOR TOOLS - SHEFFIELD ENGLAND - and all are marked on the tang: H. TAYLOR - ENGLAND - These older Taylor tools have backsides that show the unrefined raw cast steel from when they were made I believe in the 1950's or 60's. They have famous premium quality steel, brass ferrules, and wooden handles that appear just lightly or barely used if at all and all are in excellent condition and with a few that may need a touch up to the edges. Several of the stones are marked: FINE - or - MEDIUM - INDIA - MADE IN U.S.A. - and overall are also in excellent condition. The tool roll has some minor storage wear, also in excellent condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The tools measure from 8 3/4" to 9 5/8" and the total weight in the roll with stones is 2 lbs. 4 oz.
